I have had several friends on tumblr ask how I am doing since my widow maker heart attack back in 2010. Well, I am doing quite well. It’s been 1 year, 9 months 11 days and 19 hours since that day. Not that I am counting or anything…;). It has been that long since my last cigarette, I have lost 35 pounds in that time frame, I have changed my diet totally since then and I go to the gym 5 days a week to build up my cardio. My cardiologist cannot not believe how well I am doing so I guess I am in good shape again. Thanks for asking and I hope to see all of you for quite a few years yet….;)). ~rwa42 (Rod)

Did anyone show you that if you do what you want, that’s enough? Has anyone reminded you that you’re not here to prove something? You came just like yourself! Just yourself! Because being yourself is enough …..You are unique …..An original, a masterpiece of incomparable value, and without you the world would be incomplete ….Without you the world would be a puzzle with a missing piece ….And you’re the only one in the universe that can fill in that piece.Has anyone told you that the disappointments of yesterday belong to the past? And that you right now at this moment are still perfect? Still as perfect as the day you were born? Has anyone taken the time to tell you that you are infinitely smarter than you do? And that you have a thousand times more the ability to achieve your dreams than your environment makes you believe? Has anyone ever told you that you should never, never doubt about your own value?
